These courses seek to introduce participants to Irish archaeology and field methods in a practical way and can be taken by students and non-students alike – perfect for those with an abiding interest in the subject who seek hands-on experience.

These courses include the 1-week Introduction to Irish Archaeology and the great-value two week Bare Bones course, both of which are offered as residential courses August but which can also be arranged on a non-residential basis at any time from May to August.

In May and August 2018 we are also offering Archaeological Surveying Techniques, a non-accredited course which aims to introduce students to a range of non-invasive surveying and recording techniques.
