This Bare Bones course provides an introduction to a range of different aspects of field archaeology. It is suitable for university students, high school students and members of the general public with an interest in archaeology.
- The course will include a mini excavation and an introduction to surveying techniques including scaled drawing, optical level, surface survey, and photogrammetry.
- Accommodation is available from Saturday to Saturday. Fees include tuition, self-catering accommodation, and transport to and from the site.
Fees include tuition and transport from the Archaeology Centre to the site and back, if needed.
